| Hi Umino. Yes, indeed it's a comicalization of the TV series, like Kakiyoin said, and the author is Mitsuru Hiruta. It was first published in Bouken Ou magazine (Akita Shoten), in parallel with the TV series. Being, a comicalization on a monthly basis, the story is basically the same as the TV series with one exception: like in the original manga, it is Akira Fudo who takes over Devilman, and not the other way around, as it happens in the anime (Akira is killed and Devilman takes over his body, Devilman maintains his identity). Also, being a comicalization on a monthly basis, it doesn't have the exact same span as the anime: some of the demons that appear in the anime are present, but not Lala.
